Summer Dreams

Part of the Whimsical Sketchbook series.  While waiting for my kids to get out of hockey practice I faithfully made use of that time for my sketchbook.  Going through the sketches I decided to expand on my free form drawings to see what I could come up with in paint.  I hope you enjoy the series as much as I enjoy creating it.  
In the snowy white winter, my mind takes me off into dreams of summer flowers.  Of a magical mosaic of memories and wishes, fragrant and lively, holding a promise of warmth and sunshine.  The whisper of stories of long, lazy days, and the gentle caress of the summer breeze.
