Custom Helmet Process
Each helmet is a wearable work of art-crafted with precision, layered with storytelling, and emotional depth. I invest 30-50 hours into every piece, ensuring that your helmet is not just protective gear, but a personal statement.
Week 1 Foundation
Every helmet begins with careful disassembly and surface preparation. New helmetsare primed for paint; used helmets are given extra attention to honor their history and ensure the paint process starts clean and strong. This groundwork is essential—it’s where the transformation begins.

Week 2 Artwork and Design
The magic begins! The ideas we have discussed about your visions will start to come alive and the details are dialed in. We start out with a blank canvas, move to some elements of structure and then really dig into the details and tying all the elements of the mask together. The stories are weaved together through paint.

Week 3 Preservation
Each helmet is sealed with a durable 2K clear coat preserving the textures, depth and stories created. This week involves quite a few sessions of clearcoat and sanding but is really exciting to see it all finalized in that shiny clear.

Week 4 Presentation
This final stage is where the story comes full circle: I prepare the goalie’s narrative, certificate of authenticity, and a personal client letter. This allows the clear coat to setup nice and strong before delivery. Photography of the piece happens here—before it returns to the crease, ready to guard the net with style.
