I am excited to share I am one of the returning artists for the 2023-2024 Art in the Park at Chautauqua Park in Boulder Colorado.  My fiberglass bear, Jasper will be one of fifteen bears that will be nestled in Chautauqua gardens festively lit by Colorado Christmas Lights for Chautauqua's Winterfest celebration December 8-10 2023.   I hope you can make it to see the holiday display.  The event is free and open to all.  https://www.chautauqua.com/winterfest-2023/

 

If you can't make it to the Winterfest celebration you can still see the installation of bears until April 16, 2024.  The Art In The Park bears will be auctioned off on April 16th to benefit the many worthy nonprofits associated with this event as well as participating artists and the Colorado Chautauqua Association nonprofit.  Who knows, maybe you need a big bear displayed somewhere near you?

 Jasper blends a bit into the environment, looking like an ordinary black bear, but upon closer inspection Jasper shouts out to all that he is edgy and quite fancy.  Jasper proudly struts about in the cold Colorado water decked out in a marbleized coat.  Custom candy colors help differentiate colored patches of fur and the water Jasper wades through.  Jasper is a true black bear with a twist.  It is my hope many will enjoy Jasper in the years to come.
