The Promise of a New Day is a piece that came from a trip over the Hoosier Pass just as the sun was coming up.  The expanse when summiting the pass going south is amazing.  On this particular morning the colors of the sunrise were dancing upon the snow in a beautiful display.  We drive the pass on a daily basis, but the early mornings are my favorite.  The breathtaking beauty of the trip inspires me, make me feel like anything can be accomplished.

Thus the title:  The Promise of a New Day.
