Misty Morning is based upon a moment in the back country of Park County CO.  I was inspired by the clouds and sky that day.  In the studio the work took on a new identity when I experimented with the mist.  One of my favorite things ever is to see the mist that rises in the early mornings.  The cool night says goodbye as the sun rises silently coaxing us, mist and all, to wake up and greet the new day.
